Whitehouse delivers headline presentation at the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association’s 2021 Forum

Whitehouse Head of European Affairs & COO, Viviana Spaghetti, delivered a headline presentation at the British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association’s (BAMA) annual forum, celebrating the trade group’s 60th anniversary. The association represents the aerosol industry, from suppliers of components and ingredients to fillers and marketers of aerosol products.

As part of her address, Viviana highlighted the importance of sustained and meaningful engagement with the European Union as a key driver of legislation and standards that extend far beyond its borders, as well as its continued role as the UK’s largest trading partner, accounting for roughly half of all UK exports, following the UK’s departure from the EU.

Viviana also delivered a crash course in EU policy-making, spotlighting the significance of anticipating, approaching and influencing regulatory change to develop accommodating policy environments in the areas of chemical policy, consumer protection and environmental sustainability, as well as building and maintaining a reputation as an industry thought leader and trusted partner.
