Cameron texts to Ministers are disgraceful example of bad judgement

Commenting today on the publication of texts sent by David Cameron to Michael Gove, Whitehouse Communications Chair, Chris Whitehouse, says:

“Whilst the nation was reeling under the impact of a deadly pandemic, Cameron appears to be perfectly willing to distract Ministers across government to seek to feather his own nest and protect the failing businesses of his employer. Whether that is a breach of rules, or even of law, is not the only point – the fact is it’s a disgraceful example of bad judgement and warped priorities. Cameron, frankly, should have known better and should have behaved with propriety to further the common good.”
