Whitehouse has worked closely with Andrew Rosindell MP to launch the Conservative Friends of Hong Kong to be a voice for the repressed people of Hong Kong within the Conservative Party.
Lord Chris Patten, the last colonial governor of Hong Kong and former Chair of the Conservative Party, has joined with former Foreign Secretary, Sir Malcolm Rifkind, and chair of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, Tom Tugendhat MP, to be a patron of the new group.
