Whitehouse announces the return of the ESSNawards 2020

Today marks the launch of the second ESSNawards, following a hugely successful and well-attended inaugural awards ceremony, where the biggest and best from the sports nutrition industry across Europe gathered to celebrate the sector’s expansion and prosperity.

Delivered by the Whitehouse Consultancy in partnership with ESSNA – a forum for discussion and a vehicle for action for the sports nutrition sector – the ESSNawards gives brands, organisations and ambassadors in the sports nutrition industry an opportunity to gain recognition for their impressive contributions to the sector.

Last year, over a hundred attendees, from fifteen different countries across the world, came together to celebrate twelve winners, beating over forty other sports nutrition brands who entered into the awards. This year, the ceremony will take place on Thursday 10 December in an exciting new venue and location: a global epicentre of prestigious sporting events, the Stade de France.

This year, four new categories have been added, including best protein bar, best energy drink and sports nutrition in lockdown, as well as a new cohort of judges, competitions, and sponsors.  A full list of categories can be found here and entry information can be found here.

Chris Whitehouse, Chair of the Whitehouse Consultancy, said: “The Whitehouse Consultancy is proud to deliver the ESSNawards for a second year running. This year, we have secured a new venue, with several more categories and prominent industry experts on the judging panel, we expect the ESSNawards to be bigger and better, now a permanent fixture in the sports nutrition calendar”.

Given the ongoing pandemic and its implications on large events and travel, ESSNA will make a decision regarding whether the awards are to be held as a virtual event in July. For more information about the awards ceremony and how you can get involved, please visit www.essnawards.com.
