Labour woes as support collapses

Todayโ€™s Populus Poll is the third consecutive opinion poll to show a significant collapse in Labour support. It puts Labour on 35 (-3) Conservatives on 34 (=) Lib Dems on 10 (+1) and UKIP on 13 (+1). This fall probably reflects disappointment at Ed Millibandโ€™s recent announcement of the lack of a Labour commitment to an EU referendum. What should be more worrying for Labour though is that these polls were largely undertaken before the impact of Millibandโ€™s Budget Speech, universally recognised as dismal, has been factored in. More Labour woe to come, I fear.
