Labour woes as support collapses

Today’s Populus Poll is the third consecutive opinion poll to show a significant collapse in Labour support. It puts Labour on 35 (-3) Conservatives on 34 (=) Lib Dems on 10 (+1) and UKIP on 13 (+1). This fall probably reflects disappointment at Ed Milliband’s recent announcement of the lack of a Labour commitment to an EU referendum. What should be more worrying for Labour though is that these polls were largely undertaken before the impact of Milliband’s Budget Speech, universally recognised as dismal, has been factored in. More Labour woe to come, I fear.
