Where’s the NHS going? Whitehouse reports

On 19 May, MP’s debated the Queen’s Speech with a focus on the government’s plans for the NHS and social care. Mr Hancock said that integrated working had been one of the most important lessons of the crisis, and that the Health and Social Care Bill will allow for a more preventive, population health-based approach to how the government spends NHS money. He also confirmed that the government will bring forward proposals for social care reform later in the year.

This week’s report, which takes a look back at developments relating to the health service and looks ahead to what is coming up on the subject of NHS reform, can be found here.
