Whitehouse Consultancy Head of Public Relations Chris Rogers has been elected to the Public Relations Consultants Association’s 2016 Council.
The Council, which serves as a think-tank for the Public Relations industry, announced the results an election that saw a record 1,500 votes cast for 143 nominees. Rogers joins 48 other members within the Council, which will be chaired by David Hamilton, Director of Communications for the Scout Association.
Chris Rogers, Head of Public Relations at The Whitehouse Consultancy, said:
“I’m obviously delighted to be elected. It speaks volumes about the role the Council plays that the PRCA had a record number of votes and nominations this year.
“This is a great opportunity to contribute to an industry that is growing and becoming more competitive, while also having to up its game and meet the needs of savvy clients who need to see return on investment, value for money and constant creativity and innovation in their communications. I’m looking forward to ensuring issues-led communications and public affairs practitioners like us are represented in the Council’s work.”
