Serco has announced it will exit the UK clinical services market, after its NHS contracts resulted in losses, Public Procurement Insider reports. The company announced that it has revised upwards its cost estimates for running these contracts and has already withdrawn from providing out-of-hours services in Cornwall and clinical services to Braintree Community Hospital, while it is expected to carry on with its contract for community healthcare services in Suffolk, which ends in late 2015.
