The NHS in Wales has faced criticism after it emerged that they had spent over £2.1 million since 2010 making up to 25 people redundant. Four health boards had made payments, and one paid almost £800,000 to three people. The Welsh Conservatives have been critical of the payments and the Welsh Government said it expected payments to represent “the best use of public funds”.
