Education Minister looks to China for inspiration

Education minister Liz Truss will head on a fact-finding mission to Shanghai to find out why children there are outperforming their British counterparts. The news comes after new analysis of figures from the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development revealed that the poorest students in China are outdoing their wealthy British counterparts in maths.
