Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has announced that former Marks and Spencer boss Sir Stuart Rose will lead a review into NHS management. The Health Secretary has praised Sir Stuart as an “inspiring leader” who could advise on how leadership within the health service could be improved
Gary from PSI: It has been argued that the appointment of Rose is evidence the Conservatives are trying to increase the role of the private sector in the NHS, although the Government have argued that Sir Stuart will help the NHS attract the brightest and best managers.
