Children may start in school nurseries at two

Education Minister Liz Truss is writing to every English council suggesting that school nurseries be allowed to extend their opening hours to enable parents to leave toddlers there during the working day. Legislation will be introduced to cut red tape and make it simpler for schools to open their premises to two-year-olds.
