Welsh Health Minister Mark Drakeford has said that the NHS in Wales cannot turn its back on the challenges it faces and has no choice but to reform. Speaking at the Welsh NHS Confederation, Prof Drakeford called on the Welsh health service to adopt a policy of “prudent medicine” prioritising resources on proven care.
