GCSE papers 'to be marked in schools' to improve grading

The OCR exam board is leading a project to help professionalise the system of marking in GCSEs and A-levels, The Telegraph reports.

Exam marking is to be overhauled under reforms designed to eradicate the “systematic acceptance of errors” in GCSEs and A-levels. For the first time, teachers are to be given designated time out of the classroom to mark test papers.
