Barristers and solicitors are staging a mass walkout in criminal courts across England and Wales in protest at the Government’s plans to cut legal aid fees by up to 30%.The Criminal Bar Association said the unprecedented action came with anger at “boiling point”. Lawyers argue the cuts could see their fees fall reducing the representation available to defendants.
