Sophia Mencarelli

Sophia recently graduated from University College London with an MSc in International Public Policy. She previously completed a BA in Linguistics and Communication at King’s College London. 

Before joining Whitehouse, she gained experience in both UK and international journalism as a reporter at the Daily Express. There, she covered UK and EU politics, as well as broader global affairs, deepening her insight into policy and geopolitical themes. During this period, she also conducted independent research on topics ranging from youth civic engagement to EU governance.

Sophia played volleyball competitively throughout school years and now enjoys staying active through a variety of sports and dedicating time to volunteer initiatives.
