Minister for Sport & Civil Society Writes About The Urology Trade Association (UTA)

The Minister for Sport & Civil Society and Eastleigh MP, Mims Davies, has written an article on her website about the Parliamentary Briefing and Networking Reception for our health client, The Urology Trade Association. We welcomed Ministers, MPs, Peers, clinicians, industry leaders and patients to discuss key issues for the sector and to bring those who manufacture medical devices together with those who use them.

Commenting, Eastleigh MP Mims Davies said:

“Having supported constituents on a number of women’s health issues, including vaginal mesh implants, I was pleased to meet with the UTA team and hear about their work treating, helping and manufacturing products to ease the lives of patients and support them with urology care, including within our local area.

“One in six people in the UK live with a bladder and bowel issue. As the UK departs from the EU, Healthcare has become a focus of concern for many of my constituents, and it is vital that patients maintain access to the medical devices they need to stay healthy, mobile and live a good quality of life.”
