The Whitehouse Consultancy has announced a number of significant hires to enhance its growing media offer and add further expertise to its successful EU office.
Isabella Sharp joins Whitehouse from Southbank Centre where she led the arts centre’s external affairs team. As Associate Director, Isabella will head up the agency’s media and corporate communications function and bring her expertise to the Whitehouse creative sector and health teams.
At Southbank Centre, Isabella oversaw corporate communications, crisis and issues management and public affairs, including developing the political debate arm of WOW-Woman of the World festival and managing comms for the reopening of two of Southbank Centre’s arts venues. Isabella has considerable healthcare experience, having worked in the NHS Improvement press team and for healthcare and pharma clients at the PR agency APCO Worldwide. She also worked as a parliamentary researcher to Desmond Swayne MP.
Whitehouse has also invested in its established EU arm with the addition of food and drinks expert Simon Benadiba, Ana Rotaru from the European Parliament, and Andrea Gutierrez-Solana who joins from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Trade. The new additions bring a plethora of European languages with them and expertise across consumer goods, law, trade and politics.

The appointments are part of Whitehouse’s development of a full suite of issues-based communication services across sectors including energy and the environment, health and social care, food and nutrition, the creative industries, transport, education and housing and infrastructure.
Chairman, Chris Whitehouse returns to take up the reigns as MD after successfully completing his MA in Contemporary Ethics at London University’s specialist philosophy institution, Heythrop College.
