The International Communities Organisation (ICO) appointed Whitehouse Communications to help showcase its flagship report into how it was building on the United Nation’s ‘Pact for the Future’, a sweeping global agreement to update international cooperation for modern challenges.
The challenge
The challenge lay in securing meaningful traction for the ICO’s flagship report, “Best Practice for the Implementation of the UN Pact for the Future” – a practical roadmap connecting high-level UN declarations to local, community-driven realities – within the UN policy community media and specialist press.
Our approach
To ensure the report gained traction among target audiences, Whitehouse devised a bespoke media campaign with two aims: building awareness of the report’s core findings by tying them into ongoing policy debates, and raising the profile of ICO’s key thought leaders through high-profile media placements.
The outcome
Whitehouse secured dozens of pieces of coverage for the report and its findings across the specialist UN press, cementing ICO’s role in shaping practical implementation of the Pact for the Future and extending the reach of its recommendations within the UN policy community.
