Ana advises clients on EU political and policy developments in the field of trade, sustainability, food safety and public health, Brexit and EU foreign policy. Previously, she worked in the Working Group Legal and Home Affairs in the European Parliament, with a focus on the Social Pillar and Gender Equality. She also worked for a Brussels-based political think-tank on a range of sectors including EU security and defence, digital policy, social policy, Eastern Partnership and Russia. Prior to that, Ana worked as a political assistant for state institutions including the Government and Parliament in her native country, Moldova with the focus on EU affairs.
A graduate in European Political Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, she also holds a master’s degree in International Law and Human Rights and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Ana speaks Romanian as her mother tongue, as well as English, Russian and French, and is passionate about modern arts and medieval history.
